About us

Prof. Kouhei Ohnishi

Being received prestigious awards including IEEJ paper award (1985), JSPE Award (1996), IEEE fellow (2001), JSME fellow (2003), EPE-BEMC Council Award (2004) ,IEEE Dr.-Ing Eugine Mittlemann Achievement Award, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Prize(2012), Fukuzawa Award(2012), IEEJ Industry Applications Society Technical Achievement Award(2016), Medal with Purple Ribbon(2016) and IEEJ Meritorious Contribution Award(2017), he served as the head of IEEJ Industry Applications Society(2015-2016). His major publications include "Motion Control Systems" (Wiley).

His research interest lies in the field of electronics engineering, notably power electronics, motion control, robotics and haptics.
